Frontier Co-Op has made a name for themselves in the natural food industry. Their spices and herbs appear in numerous stores across the US and can also be purchased online. When Frontier Co-Op connected with Hummingbirds, they saw a unique opportunity to have new and existing customers try their products and share their experience on social media.
About Frontier Co-Op
Founded in 1976 in Eastern Iowa, Frontier Co-Op began as a grocery store and grew from there. They have been customer-owned from the start, which has allowed them to stay in tune with their customer’s needs and constantly improve their offerings. One of their highest priorities is the quality of their products: they recruit and work with quality organic growers and pass the products through 10 different kinds of tests to ensure their quality.
Frontier Co-Op also values giving back. One of their most impactful programs is the Well Earth program, where they sustainably source ingredients from farmers and assist in economic, environmental, and social stability and growth. Some places in which these programs have been activated include dill and parsley from Tunisia, cumin from India, Elder from Bulgaria, and pepper from Vietnam.

Hummingbirds prepared a recipe that incorporated Frontier Co-Op’s delicious vanilla extract. They also received some fun Frontier Co-Op merchandise, cooking utensils, and more!

The hummingbirds’ followers were intrigued by the delicious recipes created using Frontier Co-Op’s vanilla extract. Another brand even commented! Some other comments included asking where to find the brand’s products and asking if they could get the recipes to try themselves.
