When you live in the midwest, it’s challenging to find an engaging activity that you can do year round. Luckily, Iowans have Climb Iowa! Their two locations have over 13,000 square feet of climbing space, so there’s plenty of entertainment for all ages. Hummingbirds got the opportunity to climb their indoor rock walls and share about their fun-filled adventures!
About Iowa's largest indoor climbing facility
At the soul of Climb Iowa lies community. When the idea was created around 2005, the goal was to introduce and cultivate a climbing community in Des Moines. Years later that focus continues across their locations, but not only with climbing: both locations are focused on fitness, as well!
Their newest gym, located in the East Village, has an open bouldering area, Tension Board and a large fitness area designed for full-body training. Their first location, Climb Iowa Grimes, is not only Iowa’s largest climbing and training gym, but it also has a fitness center, yoga studio, and classes for all ages.
Throughout their growth, Climb Iowa has been grateful for their Des Moines community, and proudly boasts that they’ve served over 110,000 customers in the past 10 years.
